MeetingPlace does not allow customer to schedule meetings for more than 200 minutes, even though the MeetingPlace scheduling parameters are set for the maximum length of 400 minutes

Core Issue

The issue is that users cannot schedule meetings for more than 200 minutes.

This is the current configuration:

  • The user group's system group default maximum meeting length is set to 200.
  • The user profile maximum meeting length is set to Group Default.
  • In the System tab, the schedule parameters maximum meeting length is set to 400.

To allow users to schedule meetings for 400 minutes, the user group maximum meeting length parameter must be set to 400 minutes.

Configure the setting by performing these steps:

  1. Start MeetingTime and log in with a system manager profile.
  2. In the File menu, click Administration and click Configure or press the Ctrl and G keys on the keyboard.
  3. In the Views window, click User Groups.
  4. To pull group information from the server, select the Query button. To find the group you want to change, use the arrow keys (< >).
  5. To change the value, scroll down to the maximum meeting length (minimum) parameter under the subheading Restrictions and click the value.
  6. After making changes, click OK. To save the changes, click Save.
  7. If you are testing with your profile in MeetingTime, you will need to log out and back in for the changes to take effect.
