Packets get corrupted when MLPPP fragmentation and fast switching are used

Core Issue

Data connectivity is lost when the fast switching path is used for Multilink Point-to-Point Protocol (MLPPP). The cause is packet corruption due to Cisco bug ID CSCea64842.

Resolution

To resolve this problem, issue the no ip route-cache command.

For integrated releases that include the bug fix, refer to Cisco bug ID CSCea64842.
