The trunk group command is removed automatically from the d_channel configuration on the IOS gateway when in MGCP mode

Core Issue

In Media Gateway Control Protocol (MGCP) with a ccm-manager configuration, the gateway downloads the configuration from Cisco CallManager and re-configures the gateway.Cisco CallManager does not support the gateway trunk group command. When the ccm-manager re-configures the gateway with the CallManager XML file, the trunk group configuration is removed.

Resolution

If the trunk group command must be issued on the gateway, convert to the H.323 gateway.
