UCCX 10.x issue accessing the CUIC Live Data report


Problem description:

On the new deployment of UCCX 10. I'm logged in using the Application Admin account. However, each time I try and run any of the Live Data (Agent or Supervisor) in CUIC, it comes back with "Authentication Failed. Contact Administrator". If I try and log in as a Supervisor, the reports run fine. Is this expected behavior?  AppAdmin account cannot run the live data report?

 

Solution:

only supervisors who have been assigned an IPCC extension will be allowed to access the CUIC Live Data and other CUIC features. Administrator will be allowed to log in, but will not be allowed to use other functionality and will receive the error "Access Denied: Please contact your administrator".

Refer the UCCX Report user guide, in the 'Authorized Users' section, only the following user groups can access the reports:
• Agents—User can access the Live Data agent reports.
• Supervisors—User can access the Live Data agent and supervisor reports.
To access Unified Intelligence Center Live Data reports, the supervisor should be
assigned an agent Unified CCX extension.
Note
• Reporting users—User can access Historical reports and Live Data reports.
Note Live Data reports can only be run by agents, supervisors, and reporting users.
