On a Cisco CallManager 3.3(2) server, dropping a new .wav file in the DropMOHAudioSourceFilesHere directory on the publisher server does nothing. Files do not disappear. Nothing appears to be happening. The translation does not occur. A check confirms that audio translation services appear to be running.
To address this issue, perform these steps:
Verify that the server is running. Cycle the service if necessary.
Check to see if other multimedia devices can play and recognize your wave file (besides Windows Media player).
Check the Task Manager to see what the CPU is doing. The CPU may be busy doing something else and cannot allocate the necessary resources to start the translation process.
