Unity subscribers cannot access the Unity Assistant or Unity Inbox from the PCA

Core Issue

When subscribers can access the Cisco Personal Communications Assistant (PCA), but cannot access the Cisco Unity Assistant or the Cisco Unity Inbox, consider these possible causes:

  • To access the Cisco Unity Assistant, subscribers must be given the proper class of service rights on the Subscribers > Class of Service > Features page in the Cisco Unity Administrator.
  • The Cisco Unity Inbox is a licensed feature and it can be accessed only if it is purchased. In addition, subscribers must be given the proper class of service rights on the Subscribers > Class of Service > Features page in the Cisco Unity Administrator.

    Note: The Media Master control bar, which appears on the Cisco Unity Assistant and Cisco Unity Inbox pages, is not available across a PIX Firewall.
