Introduction:
Bulk Administration Tool (BAT) is a tool that can be used to make the editing/adding/removing of multiple phones

quicker and easier.  Although its designed to make things easier for users to add/remove/update administrators

commonly run into issues.  The following is a guide that will show you how to edit multiple phone descriptions

using this tool.

Steps:

1. Bulk Administration ---> Phones --> Export Phones --> All Details

I am trying to use the Bulk Administration to setup new users with Extension Mobility. I found the document below but the instructions are unclear. Has anyone used Bulk Administration for  Extension Mobility?

Hello,

There seems to be a bug with the phone export when the export format contains the owner used ID field.

CSCtb95233

I have to populate that field to cope with the new licences format.

How may I proceed ?

Thanks,

Olivier

I have a question when we do a export all config from CUCM, we usually use excel to manipulate the csv file. My question is there are times where the user display name field includes a comma, but we know that comma is used as a delimiter, so excel does not know if it is part of the field or as delimiter and the record goes off by a few columns. Anyone knows any way around that? Googling says use double quotation but I do not see if being included in the export csv. Anyone any ideas or recommendation? Thanks.
