Core Issue
In Cisco CallManager 3.3(2), when either the Cisco IP Manager Assistant (IPMA) manager or the assistant configuration on the Global Directory is changed and updated, everything appears normal. However, when you leave and then return to a page, all of the configurations that you made are lost.
Sometimes during an update, this error message is also flashed on the screen: Failed to create object. Check to make sure the Database Layer objects are installed and that users have permission to access the components.
Resolution
This problem is associated with Cisco bug ID CSCeb01741 and is caused by Microsoft bug ID MS03-010, where the Cisco CallManager loses connectivity to the Internet Information Server (IIS). The patch is made available with Cisco CallManager 3.3.(3).
To resolve this issue, reset the IIS.
