When calls are transferred from a Cisco Unity Express version 2.3.1 that is integrated with Cisco CallManager Express version 3.3 and earlier, the Auto Attendant shows the AA pilot number instead of the Caller ID of the extension that placed the call

Core Issue

After an upgrade to Cisco Unity Express version 2.3.1, these issues can occur:

  • No Caller ID appears in the window

  • No audio is heard when a call transfers

  • Transfers to voicemail fail

Resolution

This issue is tracked in Cisco bug ID CSCse31911. This issue occurs when the Cisco Unity Express does not understand the blind transfer.

In order to resolve this issue, configure the Cisco Unity Express to use a blind transfer with the help of these commands:
