Expressway C and E callrouting without any DNS reliance

Hello I am new in Cisco Expressway (x8.9.2)deployment but i have a question on my mind. Can i use ip address instead URI to route calles inside Expressway C and E. Can i make calls CUCM ----> ExpresswayC---->ExpresswayE---->(service provider trunk)Internet without any DNS. I tried to change ip addressed in Transform but it didn't change, so i think that it's not meant to do that.

   For implementing Expressway , DNS records is mandatory and you must set them as mentioned in related documents .It should be noted that some relationship between CUCM and Expressway's established via DNS SRV records.
But after you install and implement , definitely you can call without URI .
