Meetingplace having terrible unintelligible quality audio while on the conference bridge.

I tried hosting a MeetingPlace meeting with 4 rooms/phones dialing-in,  three of which were external. The platform was completely unusable with  terrible unintelligible quality audio for the most part. This has only happened to one of our site.

Can somoene please suggest if this could be an issue at the network level on site or could be someting to do with the meeting place platform?

We are running System Version: 7.1.1.12 on our meeting place.

What is the exact software version of the MCU blades?  You can go to MCU blade Media Server Administrator page > Board  section > Basics tab, and check the Software version: value.

Also, check the Ethernet port settings that is set to Auto and negotiated to Gigabit.

You can go to MCU blade Media Server Administrator page >  Board section > Addressing tab, and check Port settings (Auto) and  Port status (Gigabit).

Ensure that the switchport that the MCU  blades are connecting to is set to Auto/Auto (speed/duplex) but also  negotiated to 1000/FULL.

Once we have this additional information and confirmation for the network, we will be able to provide the next action plan.
