MeetingPlace, how stop incoming audio from the guest user

Hi all,

I have just installed a solution with MP 8.5.2 audio only deployment. The customer is asking  for an atipic configuration where just a (or few) person can speak ad all others guest user are automatically put in mute. Is it possible?

Is there an "escamotage"  to configure this feature?

Please let me know.

I do not think there is an option like this but the meeting organizer can mute all participants by pressing #81 once they are in the meting.  This way some meetings all participants can talk and others only the meeting host.  This works for scheduled or reservationless meetings.

What if the #81 option is not recognized, i.e doesnt work? Is there a specific place where this has to be enabled?

Hi Dwayne,

If you need such capability to moderate a meeting, you can use Conference Manager. Here are details on installing and using Conference Manager as well as Monitoring the meetings which allows you to mute participants.
