Hello,
Does CWMS 2.0 recording feature is licensed based ? I can see recording tab in our CWMS 2.0 but its disabled.
Does it require dedicated storage box to save recording or it stores within same server?

Hi,
In order to have recordings capability enabled, you have to add NFS storage to your CWMS solution. This will also enable daily backups of your system. Please, find instructions here: http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/collaboration/CWMS/2_0/Administration_Guide/Administration_Guide_chapter_01110.html#task_4A68696836634ECDADFE4B8223540617
I hope this helps.

Hi,
That is correct. You cannot use recording option without having NFS storage added to your CWMS system.
As for other questions:
1. I am not sure what you are asking me in question #1. Can you please clarify this for me?
2. On CWMS Dashboard in the top right corner you will see a link for reports. There you can generate a report for a specific time period and get all the reports CWMS can generate. Here is the document explaining reports:http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/collaboration/CWMS/2_0/Administration_Guide/Administration_Guide_chapter_010000.html
3. Video conferencing is only supported by using web cam on your PC. CWMS doesn't support video end points joining meetings and presenting their video. Hence, video is only available if you join a web portion of the meeting with a client that has web cam installed. Here is more about video: http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/collaboration/CWMS/2_0/User_Guide/User_Guide_chapter_01000.html

Does it means, we cant use recording enable without NFS ?
Few more questions about CWMS 2.0:
1- Can we have option of having multiple layouts ? we have TP Condcutor, MCU 320, TMS. Can we get it using any of these three devices ?
2- Can we have webex meeting reports ? e.g. how many participants join meeting? participants details, time duration etc ?
3- Can the video conference be join using from desk using camera, headset ?

Point 1 (About Layout) in TP 320 guide Layout section says:
Note: These options are not configurable from the TelePresence Server user interface if the TelePresence Server is operating in remotely managed mode.
What is the meaning of Remotely Managed mode ? Does it mean TP 320 should be managed alone not using TP Conductor ? we have TP 320 managed by TP Conductor, can we get this feature in TP 320 using TP Conductor ?

Point 2 (CWMS Reports) I have found answer from following link:

Point 3 need help.

Hello Dejan,
My client is looking for option of having Multiple Layout (how participants display in layout view) in Video Conferencing. Details of Multiple Layouts are mentioned in following link.
http://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/telepresence/infrastructure/ts/admin_guide/Cisco_TelePresence_Server_Printable_Online_Help_3-1_Media_310_320.pdf
In above link it says: TP 320 will support Multiple Layout but only if it is NOT remotely managed. I need to know what is the meaning of remotely managed ? does remotely managed mean by TP Conductor ?

This is more of a Telepresence question. I advise you to post this as a new question in Telepresence community.
