Accessing Historical Data

I have a CCX 5.0(2) implementation in which a customer would like to access the statistics database using SQL. What would the optimal way in which one could establish a connection with this database? Would the user trying to do this require "reporting" capability? What username and password would be best to use for accessing the database?

Tony, Did you ever hear anything on this? I have a customer that wants to do the same thing because they are not satisfied with getting the information from the reports using a csv file.

Please let me know if you found anything.

Unfortunately, I have not got any feedback nor have I found anything particular. Did you have any luck?
