Re: Append data to text file

Hi,

i assume you are using Windows 2000 or higher?

Then use the following

If you have two source files named 1.txt and 2.txt then use the copy command to make one destination file (test.txt in this example).

copy /a "1.txt" + "2.txt" /a test.txt

The switch /a is just for sure. It let copy operate in ASCII mode.

Best regards,

Re: Append data to text file

How am i gonna run this in the cra script ? and wouldn't the syntax be:

copy "append.txt" + "test.txt" test.txt

append.txt would be the new text(could be created via substitute)
