Approved Server Hardware

I'm looking for a list of approved server hardware for CRS 4.0(3). I'm currently running CRS 3.5(2) on an HP DL380 G2. I'm going to upgrade our 3.5(2) install on new hardware to version 4.0(3). Are all the new DL380s G4 & DL320s supported. Also does it matter whether I use SATA or SCSI drives for the CRS install?

Re: Approved Server Hardware

Please take a look at the Cisco CRS 4.0(3) Solution Set section of the following CRS Software and Hardware Compatibility Guide for a list of supported hardware.

Hope this helps. If so, please rate the post.

Thanks,

It appears that document only contains a list of MCS servers. Is there a document that has a list of approved HP servers for the AVVID products.

Re: Approved Server Hardware

Joe,

The only thing that I can find that makes reference to non-MCS servers is the Configuration and Ordering Tool. Please see the link below. If you go to the Step 2 tab, there is a Select Server drop down. If you don't have CCO access, let me know and I'll copy the list for you.

Hope this helps.

Re: Approved Server Hardware

Brandon,

Thanks for the spreadsheet. I also found another document that had some approved HP servers for AVVID installations.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/voiceapp/ps378/prod_brochure09186a0080107d79.html

I noticed the the newer processors are not listed for the DL380 i.e.XEON 3.6GHz & 3.8GHz. Since their not listed does that mean that TAC won't support this configuration if I choose to use the faster processors?

Thanks

Joe
