Hi there
First post ...
Can you help me with automating reporting from UCCX7? All I want to do is use some timed queries to run overnight and pull data out of uccx into Excel, or something more sophisticated, so that the call center management team have an email every morning with the report(s) they need to assess performance etc.
Sounds simple but I'm sure it isn't! Any help gratefully received.
Thanks

Hi
It doesn't quite work like that, unfortunately.
You can schedule reports, but this is both scheduled and executed from the client workstation. When you install HRC, you get a little scheduler task on the system tray. This is what runs the reports.
When you run HRC, you schedule them to run daily/weekly/monthly, and they run at that time for the last relevant period. E.g. you schedule a report to run daily, it will run for the previous day. The reports are excecuted by the scheduler, and exported to the file path you tell it to export to.
It is all in the HRC client user guide.

Aaron

Thanks for this.
Is it not possible to query the UCCX database directly? Or is the only data available that contained in the historical reports?

Hi
Yes- the DB is just MSSQL so you can query it directly, however putting the results into a suitable format and getting them mailed out would then become a little development task for you rather than a user-driven task via the HRC application.
