Hi all,

we need to know if it is supported to connect an Avaya PIM using 2 MAPD boards for failover, i mean, each pim is connected to host1 (MAPD1) and host2 (MAPD2). How is the failover in this scenario with duplexed PGs?

You can do it either way but the more traditional deployment design puts PG Side A to MAP/D #1 and PG Side B to MAP/D #2. If you had both MAP/Ds in both SideA and SideB PGs then the PG will require connection to both all the time

There is no impact to ICM failover in the traditional design as a MAP/D failure would cause the other PG Side to try to connect to the other MAP/D.
