You can configure the BARS storage location as either the IPCC or CCM server, but all backups using this installation of BARS will be sent to the same storage location when the job is run. The data source server can contain both the CCM and IPCC. This is true for BARS version 4.0.8000 and previous releases.
If you have spare hard drives you can pull a mirror from the IPCC and CCMs on regular intervals and use them for backup purposes in addition to BARS.
