BARS Error

Hi,

I found the following Error on the BARS logfile:

[02:29:30 AM] Copying Lmhosts and hosts file to stage directory.

[02:29:30 AM] Error: File Lmhosts not found in source folder.

[02:29:30 AM] Staging hosts file.

[02:29:30 AM] Failed to stage hosts File.

I got this error three time for the 3 IVRs im backing up. Althought at the end he says : Archive built successfully.

Any advice?

Thanks

Re: BARS Error

Yeah, thats not a huge deal and wouldn't cause the backup to fail. However, do you have the filename "lmhost.sam" in the C:\WINNT\System32\drivers\etc directory or C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc? Rename it to lmhost (take off the .sam). Its best to have the lmhost file on the IVR's contain the CallManager hostnames as well as the other IVR hostnames.

127.0.0.1 localhost #example of the local host

10.1.1.1 example #CallManager Publisher

10.1.1.2 example #CallManager Subscriber

Re: BARS Error

Thank you for you answer. Yes i have lmhost.sam and hosts. But this file are already well configured on the ICM (we use IPCC Enterprise). Do i need to do what you said even if i have lmhosts and hosts configured on ICM with all IP adress/hostnames?

thank you
