CAD 7.6.1 - receive error upon launch.

Installed CAD 7.6.1.  Receiving pop-up error:  "Unable to download file.  Could not open request".  At this point, I can select the "ok" button, and the load continues successfully.   Looking at the logs, I am seeing the following information:

09/13/10 11:31:58.056  3452  agent  Thd(2276)  CNetPort(01986350)::InitializeSecureSockets(), failed to open the ctios client
  registry key [Software\Cisco Systems, Inc.\CTI OS Client]
09/13/10 11:31:58.072  3452  agent  Thd(2276)  CSSLRSA::ReadPEMKeyFile(), error:02001002:system library:fopen:No such file or
  directory
09/13/10 11:31:58.072  3452  agent  Thd(2276)  CSSLRSA::DecryptData(), EVP Key is NULL! error:20074002:BIO

I am stuck.  We are trying to get this error window to go away, and unfortunately, I've run into a wall.   Any suggestions or help?

Hi

Do you have a proxy configured in IE? I often see this when CAD can't understand the proxy config; most often this is when a proxy auto-config script is used rather than a simple proxy address and bypass list.

If so try disabling the proxy and restarting CAD.

The client had a proxy on!   This fixed my error!

Because the client will probably want to use the proxy, turn off automatic updates using PostInstall.exe on the server.

i alos faced same issue and

i alos faced same issue and after remove the proxy setting still my cad agent is showing failed option to downlaod updates...\\what can i do for it?

 

i already reinstall CAD application! but still same error...
