It looks as though the installer is able to install Desktop Base, and properly read the Directory configuration. However when it goes to install Desktop Agent, it is failing to read the APP Version key in the registry. It could be because the machine is in a state where the uninstall can't properly execute. The best solution is to uninstall Agent desktop and desktop base from Add/remove Programs and then reinstall the same.
