Call Redirect Step

Hi,

here is the situation.

We have an application that redirects a call to another application.

The first and the second application have 20 sessions.

After on or two weeks we get the problem, that on the first application the sessions are full, so that the application can't handle more calls.

So here is my question:

If a call is redirected from one application to another, the session of the first application should be closed. Is this so?
