Call Type Real time Vs Call type Historical

Hy guys,

why there is huge difference in the call offered and call handled in call type real time and call type interval table.

historical report (call type interval table) always gives high value even if select the time period same as the time shown in the real time report.??

can any one through some lights on it??

or any cisco document refering this??

Which offer information you are using for both, in the real time there is more than one offered in the DB (Offered5, offered now, offered today) as for the historical there are two , total calls offered and SLcallsoffered?

Dear Amer,

Sorry for the late response.. We are manage to find out the concept behind the real time and historical data.

and share the same with customer as below.

The call offered, call handled  and call answered fields in the call type real time report  are derived from the column – CallOfferedToday, CallHandledToday and CallsAnsweredToday.

These data are the sum of each field starting from the midnight the current timestamp.

The call type historical report is derived from a table Call Type Interval. Where the data has been updating every 30 min interval only.

So always the historical data show less or equal  count as real time data.

we couldnt able to identigy the reason behind the  above reported issue, and it didnt occure again..

customer is happy with explanation, so do we....
