Can not log in as an Agent

Tried to associate phone but a tech told me that I also

have to associate agent in JTAPI.  Can any of you e

xperts tell me the procedure to do this.

Is this Contact Center Express or Enterprise?

Log into CUCM. Under User - Application User, find your ICM JTAPI user. Open the page. You will see two tiny list boxes for uncontrolled devices and controlled devices. Add the phone as a controlled device. Save. It's dynamic and the association is made immediately.

(If you are using a CUCM from the Windows build, the page is different - and, in my opinion, much better. Same task though)
