Cannot logon to HR - Database Error

Hello,

I can't logon to the Historical Reports client. I tried to create a DSN on the client computer using NT authentification but it failed. What may be the reason?

Re: Cannot logon to HR - Database Error

I forget to mention that I have IPCC Express 4.0(3).

Can someone tell me how exactly configuring the db_cra DSN on the HR client computer. Should I add some users to the db? It's not clear and I didn't find exact documentation from cisco website.

Thanks

Re: Cannot logon to HR - Database Error

So you want to access HR DB by a third-party ODBC client?,

HR DB uses both Windows and SQL authentication, so you should be able to access by the administrator account. If this doesn't work, it could be the client protocol order, in which 'TCP/IP' might be on the top. In this situation, I would suugest you creating a SQL account. You could install SQL Enterprise Manager on the DB server.
