I'm sure you've found your answer; if not simply No. UCCX has to have it's own server build and cannot co-res with Unity. You will have to purchase a standalone MCS server. The UCCX Config. tool can spit out all of the part numbers (as you need more than just the server).
I agree with both, however the current UCCX + OS that are shipping with CCM, will indeed install on VMWARE ESX. Possibly your customer has a cluster? Anyways it is worth noting if TAC finds out its a VMWARE, they won't support it. Also UCCX in my experience has had some performance issues and problems running in HA mode when in VMWARE.
I see you managed to run the UCCX in HA on VMWARE. AT the moment I'm trying just the same. I am doing it in the way that I am restoring it on IPCC1. After some time procedure asks me to add the IPCC2 into the cluster. When I try to do that I get the following message:
The Add to cluster operation could not be performed due to insufficient space for database replication process. Please do the following and then perform the Add to cluster operation again. If Microsoft SQL Server is already installed, execute database expansion operation directly. If not, install Microsoft SQL Server and then perform the database expansion. To perform the Database expansion, run the DB expansion utility located at (C:\Program Files\wfavvid\execscript.exe)
SQL server is installed and the procedure doesn't help. I gave the server recomended 80GB of hard.
Does this ring a bell, maybe? I konw it's a longshot...
I'm not able to access my old voice mail messages all of a sudden. The recording says something like 'the message is currently not available'. This has never happened before in all the years I have been using this system. I have t...
