CCX v9 - HA over LAN - port for SUB

Hi there,

The first time I have configured an CCX HA it was with the Over the wan option.

I had to double the port from the control group from the Publisher.

Now I have to do an "over the LAN" setup and I am not so sure it's the same thing.. Probably no, because the option to create ports for the sub from the Pub is not there..

anyone ?

Just to be sure I undersdant, with the "Over the Lan" when we add the HA, we do not have to do something with the ports ?

With HA over LAN you typically create one CTI Call Control Group, which creates ports for each CCX server, though all ports are using common set of configuration, i.e. device pool, etc. With HA over WAN it creates just as many CTI ports, but you assign different settings to each server, i.e. different DP, etc.

Hi Chris,

In regards to CTI Call Control Group with HA over LAN, does it just require to Resync Call Control Group once finish second UCCX node installation in HA?  or it does need to manually create another call control group for standby UCCX server?

In my case, customer has already had a server in production for a year, but now seek to install the UCCX Sub as HA (HA over LAN).
