Changing central controller time on hosted IPCC - ICM 5.0

Hi,

The central controller time on Hosted IPCC is ahead by 5 mins with acutal region time. Can this be changed and brought back to the actual reagion time. If yes? how can this be achieved.

Any pre-requisites or procedure to be followed.

If your central controller is behind, going forward isn't a big deal. However, if it is behind its a bit trickier. This is because you will have duplicate time stamps and it gets cranky.

Since you are only five minutes behind I would suggest the following:

1. stop the router/logger

2. Wait for 6-10 minutes

3. Set the clock to the appropriate time

4. restart the router/logger

You can just change the clock however you have to go into sql and removethe duplicate keys so this way is the easiest.

Ours is a Hosted IPCC ver 5.0, with 4 customer instances running and live. One is an Airline reservatrion and other one is national directory enquiry, these are most critical and other 2 customer service processes.

Stopping the router logger means..stop NAM, and all customer instances...is it..?.

Is it advicable to do...?. is there any other risk invovled...?.
