Hi,
Got a CCE 8.5 with CUCM 8.5 and having problems with Silent Monitoring. The error message is Error 13144 Monitoring Request has encountered error (see attached). This is displaying on the Supervisors desktop when selecting a Talking agent.
Any ideas?

Theis error occurs when a supervisor attempts to silent monitor an agent using a phone that does not support the silent monitor function.

CTI Error 13144: Ensure that the agent's device supports silent monitoring (for example, 7970), the device has the Built in Bridge (BIB) enabled, and the device has been reset after enabling BIB.

Thanks Anand. They are 7942s with BIB configured and reset. Any other suggestions?

Hi Rich,
There are few other steps required for this like you need to add monitoring and recording permission to the application user (whch you used for CUCM PG installation), assign monitoring and recording calling search space in the DN configuration etc. Those steps are decribed under monitoring and recording in the CUCM feature configuration guide. Double check all the steps because if you have done those steps properly then there should not be any problem with silent monitoring.

Sorted! Seen this before where phones MAC addresses are stored in lower case on CUCM. Deleted phones and readded and all working now.
Any clues if this is a known bug? I've encountered this a few times.
