creating a Route Point with the same number of the extension

when creating a CTI routing point with a number which already exists as extension, the CCM accept this. Is there a specific reason why it is possible to use the number twice ?

Ingrid

That creates a shared line appearance, there are compeling reason for having those. However if you are using IPCC you should not create shared line appearances.
