I have 2 proggers configured in duplex and everything seems to be configured properly. I have a cross over cable connected between the proggers for the private connection.
active services including CTI Server on Side A fails over to Side B and vice versa when the processes are shutdown in node manager.
When I disconnect the network cable from the public interface on either server the CTI Server process never fails over automatically and remains active.
has anyone experienced this scenario and can offer any advice?

Hi,
when you installed your software, which method have you used, name resolution or ip resolution?

Hi,
could you ping to private server name?
Then you can verify if the ip matchs with the ip of private network.

This has been identified as a bug by Cisco - "CSCsx40043 - CG Failover does not failover properly on a public network outage"
