CTIOS Agents logged out automatically

We have CCM4.1(3) SR7 cluster and ICM 6.0 installed in our environment

Our CTIOS agents got logged out automatically and later on they were able to log in again.

On our publisher, the application error log was generated as below:

Error: SDLLinkOOS - SDL link to remote application out of service.

Local node ID: 1

Local Application ID.: 100

Remote IP address of remote application: 10.10.15.12

RemoteNodeID: 2

Remote application ID.: 100

Unique Link ID.: 1:100:2:100

App ID: Cisco CallManager

Cluster ID: StandAloneCluster

Node ID: 10.10.15.11

On subscriber, the event log was generated as below:

Error: SDLLinkOOS - SDL link to remote application out of service.

Local Application ID.: 100

Remote IP address of remote application: 10.10.15.11

RemoteNodeID: 1

Unique Link ID.: 2:100:1:100

App ID: Cisco CallManager

No network issue was found at that time. We want to investigate the exact cause of this issue. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

Re: CTIOS Agents logged out automatically

What SR do you have on ICM? I think upgrading to SR12 will help with this. There were some known issues fixed in SR12

Re: CTIOS Agents logged out automatically

I am not sure if the errors above relate to the symptom. Did all the phones get unregistered?

For agents getting logged out - I assume this has duplexed PGs.

If agents are logged out of CTIOS, I would check the eapim and jtapi pim failover on the PG. If the failover is not happening as expected, then check PG config (correct hostname, user /pass for call manager etc). When you try to failover the PG, capture pim logs. They will tell you what is causing the issue.

Other possibility is agent desktop config on the agent's PC. If they don't have both sides of PG correctly defined, they will be logged off.

SR12 for ICM 6.0 is the latest SR on ICM. You may want to check the release notes. I remember there were some fixes related to what you describe.
