Go through some of the SRND documents. UCCX can do the job of
ICM, PGs, IPVR, CVP etc
In UCCE world you have different models that gets deployed. If you take CVP into consideration CM can be behind that so it really get complicated.
Simple UCCE is call comes to CM, handed off to ICM, ICM drives the decission making uses IP IVR for prompting and collecting then ICM decides where to send call, informs CM to send call and wala voice connection happens.
That is really one scenario high level. In ICM you need DNIS or RP tied to Call Type and Call types are tied to ICM scripts so on...
Again start with UCCE SRND, then use the scripting guides for UCCE you will get good start.
Please check out this document as it has screen shots of PG installation but still it would be best if you go through the SRND and get proper training of product either from a Training Partner or PEC if you have access to it.
