Hi,

Sequesnce for upgrade :

1. CUCM Publisher

2. CUCM Subscriber

3. UCCX nodes

4. QM.

Process :

CUCM 9.x (pls note below is the process for v7.1.5)

  2. Restore the DRS backup to 7.1.5 VM.

3.Now you can upgrade the 7.1.5 to 9..1.2 in VM with switch to new version.

  4. Once completed just shut down the Guest OS in Vsphere and go to edit setting --> option change the OS version to 32 bit.

  5. Start the VM.

  6. Take the 9.1.2 backup.

  7. Install the 9.1.2 as fresh and restore the back from upgrade 9.1.2 VM

Dear Mohamad,

In addtion to great advise from Somar (he deserves +5 rating).

for CUCM, you need to upgrade the call manager from version 7.0.2.20000-5 to version 7.1.5, take backup for version 7.1.5 and continue with Somar steps.  also make sure you add all PAK before upgrading to CCM 9.1.

for AQM, make sure you take backup for AQM data base.

HTH

Anas
