I have a CVP Reporting Server that was running for a while. I also have CUIC installed and I was able to generate IVR reports using the CVP templates. Suddenly, I see that the CVP Reporting Server in CUIC Datasources is OFFLINE.
Given that nothing has been changed, what could be the issue? Does the cvp_dbuser expire?
I am getting the following error in CUIC:
Attempt to connect to database server (cvp_db_<rpt_server_hostname>) failed.
This is a common problem that CVP users have reported and is usually related to. A product ID / Licensing miss-match. Open the license file in not pad and verify the host ID matches the reporting server and the product version mulct match as well , 8.0 CVP license will not work on 8.5 CVP . Cisco licensing is more than accommodating when it comes to re-issuing these licenses.
