Does anyone know how to increase the timeout on Crystal reports when it is executing a stored procedure?

Further, why do the stored procedures that was written by CRA development team have a "sleep" command "WAITFOR DELAY @meDelay". Why is a delay needed, when is it not needed?

I was getting the same problem, I changed my query to only gather 1 days or hours worth of information. This seemed to help. Once this is complete it will ask you to match your data fields. Hope this helps.
