Customer calls in cannot be heard without readjusting volume.

I got a report from agents that call coming to phone needs either readjust the volume to low or high in order to be hear. Does anyone experienced that problem? and how to fix it? I am using IPCC express Version 7.0.(1)_Build504. Thanks

This has nothing to do with CCX since it is not involved in the audio path once a call is answered by the agent.

What type of circuit is being used for PSTN connectivity?

Does the volume differ for the same caller if they call in again; or, only from one caller to the next?

Is this isolated to only a few agents that would suggest phone-specific problems?

Are the agents using a headset? Does the problem go away if they stop using the headset?
