I have a situation where I need to call a Web service to terminate a session when the call end. I'm thinking creating a Java Class and use the CallEndAPI but I need to call the web service inside that class. Can I do this using the WebService Element?
You can't use the Web Service element in an end class - you have to follow the template.
You can write Java code in your custom end class to do anything within reason. We've used it to write information in a SQL database. You can call a web service.
I have written custom classes to call Web services using Apache HttpClient and JAXB (Java XML Binding) as the parser, but if your Web service is SOAP, then cndilip123's recommendation of Apache Axis is good one. I think I need to look at that.
