CVP IP Transfer

Need some urgent Help. i am running CVP 3.0 with Call manager 4.1.3 and mulitple remote gateways and one Gatekeeper

I have configured the Seperate GK Trunk with MTP Enabled on the Call manager.

On the VB, I ahve the SerTransferLabel set to 8111111 and also I have added the SetExcludeIp of Call manager

When I make a call from the IP phone, there is a dead air and the call after few seconds connects to an agent with out playing any prompts.

Can some one tell me what is causing this.

Also How does the CVP know which Gateway to pick for Media termination, since we have added the SetExcludeIp command on the VB?

Assuming you have the SetTransferLable in your script the gateway that is chosen will be based on your gatekeeper configuration. You need to create a e164 address in your zone and define the appropriate gateway.

Here are the steps I take to get it working:

1. CVP H323 GW (or GK Trunk whatever used in CCM to route to CVP), check MTP required button and make sure MRGL on H323 device has MTP resources.

2. CVP VB admin needs SetExcludeIP IP1, IP2, IP3, .. where IP1,2,3 is CCM IPs.

3. In GK, configure E164 DN routing to VXML GW for temp connect DN.

It sounds like you have this setup properly (except for maybe the gatekeeper part). What do the VB logs say? Are their MTP resources in the MRGL assigned to the GK trunk?

Yes, i have the SetTranferLable configured on the Voice Browser.

I have the MTP resources under my MRGL.

Can you get the VB logs from the "beginning" of the call. It should look something like this:

I see from the logs the call started out as G.729, did you try changing it to G.711?

I put the phoen in the Same Device Pool.

Still do not work.
