CVP VXML License!

HI,

Do we need additional licenses for CVP VXML gateway. My CVP is there with 2 port demo license.

If running in a demo lab environment.

Thanks,

Manish

Re: CVP VXML License!

HI Goeff,

I have 2 port license for CVP Server and do not have any license for VXML Server.

For VXML scripting (in CVP), do I need additional licenses for that.?

Thanks,

Manish

Re: CVP VXML License!

Didn't you ask this yesterday?

Re: CVP VXML License!

Nope, this is related to CVP VXML Scripting.

Re: CVP VXML License!

You also have an evaluation licence for CVP VXML server. Two ports.

Did you try starting it and examining the log files it writes in Tomcat\logs. It will talk to you.

Re: CVP VXML License!

CVP7 VXML server comes with the evaluation licence when you install it. When you start the service, it writes this info in the Tomcat\logs\stdout log or stderr log - can't recall. Have a look  - you will see the line that says "evaluation licence". It's ready to test.

Re: CVP VXML License!

Hi Geoff,

I have attached stdout log, CVP VXML Error log and I screenshot from CVP/diag.

In stdout I can see the below lines

"This software will run in evaluation mode until activated"

and also while checking the CVP VXML error logs I can see the below line there

"04/11/2010 19:17:10.390, SERVER ERROR: bad_url. URI: /CVP/Server"

and in the VXML license folder I do not see any license file.

as bad_url error normally come due to license error I guess this is a license issue. Can you please confirm me this so that I can have proceed with further troubleshooting.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Ashfaque.

Re: CVP VXML License!

It is not a licence issue.

Tomcat stdout shows you loading these apps:

Loading application 'HelloWorld'
Loading application 'TPIN'
Loading application 'TestSP'
Loading application 'VerifyTPIN'
Loading application 'test1'

The error log shows you trying to invoke two apps:

04/11/2010 17:03:08.046, SERVER ERROR: There is no deployed application named 'test2.jsp'. URI: /CVP/Server?application=test2.jsp
04/11/2010 19:14:42.734, SERVER ERROR: There is no deployed application named 'tpin'. URI: /CVP/Server?application=tpin

In the list of loaded applications, there is no application called "test2.jsp" nor is there an application called "tpin". There is an application called "TPIN" but this is not what you requested - it's case sensitive.

Fix your construction in ICM.

Regards,

Geoff
