Delayed acceptance of 9 (agent transfer) press on the IVR
We would like to have a feature in the IVR, where 9 press will be accepted by the IVR only after the customer has spent an x duration of time on the IVR.
This x duration will be independent of the menu / leg of the IVR where the customer could be.
Just for illustration ( say we want 9 to be accepted only after 20 secs)
A customer comes on IVR hears the welcome prompt and presses 9 , the customer will get a prompt this is an invalid option and take him to the next floater / main menu as the case may be. The customer presses 9 again and this time the 9 is after 20 secs of call start time, the 9 will be accepted and current business logics of the agent transfer will be applied.
A customer comes on the IVR and hears the welcome prompt and presses 19, if the duration is < 20 secs the customer will be taken to the option 1 of the IVR. Incase the call is > 20 secs the 19 will be accepted and necessary business logics applied
A customer comes on the IVR and hears the welcome prompt and presses 129, if the duration is < 20 secs the customer will be taken to the option 1, sub option 2 of the IVR. Incase the call is > 20 secs the 129 will be accepted and necessary business logics applied
