i have layer 2 cisco switches with multiple vlans running on the enterprise network. how do i get a dedicated windows 2008 Dhcp server address these vlans
DHCP is layer 3, so you will need to configure helper-address on the layer 3 interfaces wherever those are defined, router or switch.
