Disturbance while playing prompts - IP IVR 5.0

Hi,

Please find the attached .wav file -WB_5007.wav. The sample file is attached for your reference.

This is recorded in the format supported by IP IVR.

Bit Rate - 64kbps

Audio sample size - 8 bit

Channels - 1 (mono)

Audio sample rate - 8 KHz

Audio Format - CCITT u-Law

When we hear it on a local machine, it is playing properly. But when ported on our production machine (IP IVR 5.0), it is giving a continous disturbance for all the prompts.

Can someone help me out on this?

Hi Sushma,

Are you using G711 codec on IPCC? I think it is network related QoS issue. DId you try listening it on the CRS Server and having same problem?

Hi Ikram,

We are using G711 codec on IPCC.

We did listen the prompts on the CRS Server and we still have the problem. Its only on the production environment we face this problem. In our lab environment, it is playing without any disturbance.

Any suggestions would be great!
