Duplexed Daws with HDS allows duplexed Web View?

Good day.

I have two DAWS: Daws1 and Daws2 accordingly. Daws1 - primary, Daws2 - secordary.

Both are HDS enabled.

On Daws1 I have installed Webview service.

What would happen if I will install Webview service on Daws2?

Will Webview work as duplexed service or only one Webview for the ICM instance allowed?

It will work on both.

We have 2 DAW/HDS and Instaled webview on both of them, so when one DAW fails, Supervisor just need to switch to the second DAW to have their reports.

Thank you, Zin.

I'll try to install second Webview on Daws2.

If it would work fine I'll write about it. Perhaps it would help some one too.

What version of IPCC do you use? In 7.0, Webview has its' own database, which is used to store the shared or private reports, so you'd better to point Webview DB on the same HDS, so when you switch to second webview, the created reports still present. Otherwise you have to re-do reports in second webview server.
