Format to String variable point share folder or FTP.

Hi

I have to update a CCX from 7.1 to 9.1. The problem is ther script for agents have many string variables that poing to Windows local archives (for example a schedule.xml for calendar). So how can we configure the variables to point to a share folder or FTP?

Is there a easier way to fix this. Can we upload these files to the local Linux server?

thank  you for the asnwers.

Best regards

Hi,

yes.

The easiest: upload them to the local Document repository.

If you would like to keep on writing files, that's not a problem either:

Windows (using Samba/CIFS): https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-23618

SFTP: https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-33115

Yes, I going to try upload to the documentary repository.

Sorry I'm no good scripting.

Could you tell me with format I have to use in the value column to point to "calendar.xml" on the Document Repository please?

The value still have to be String ,right?

Thank you

So. If the file is on the documentary repository the variable would be:

Variable = calendar

Type = String

Value = "calendar.xml"

Format to String variable point share folder or FTP.

No. Type = Document.
