I would like to create a script where the customer can change the hours of operation by editing a parameter. Does anyone know how to accomplish this?

We overcame this issue by creating a script which can open and close the contact centre outside the programmed hours.
Manipulating the values used by the time-of-day and day-of-week steps would require the use of the CRA Editor. Alternatively, you could store the opening hours in an XML file or a database, and query these to decide whether the contact centre should be open or not.
