I am interested to know how to achieve DTMF tone masking in UCCX.
We used to achieve this using a VXML property named bargeintype = "hotword" in Cisco CVP by referring to external custom VXML, which follows VXML 2.0 specification. Whereas while looking at the UCCX Getting Started with Scripts - (9.0(1)) - Volume 1 - Appendix B VoiceXML Implementation for Cisco Voice Browser (Page621/642), we see UCCX supports “baregeintype = speech” ONLY for <prompt> element, whereas hotword is not supported.
Considering a specific case, where we have a caller, IVR and agent in conference and the IVR is presenting a menu to collect sensitive data like credit card, cvv numbers etc... the agent should not hear the dtmf tones provided by the caller. How do we achieve this in UCCX scripts?
Is there any way we can accomplish this requirement?
The short answer is that you don't.... That isn't entirely true while at
the same time it kind of is, but for the most part you don't configure
the softkeys. You enable or disable them via TCL. Here is the long
answer. Be sure to read the whole thing or e...
