How to communicate between CRS and an external web server

Hello -

I am working on a typical banking application. I need to collect

information like

[Account]

Please enter your 16-digit account number now.

Please enter your 4 digit pass code now.

[Passcode]

Please enter your 4 digit pass code now.

which is not a problem.

And then have to send this to a host - post using XML document and get a

response back.

Should I use the Create URL document with the above 2 parameters

collected from the caller?

How do I send the document to a web service and get information like

account balance etc.?

Could you recommend some sample steps? My application script will be

handling the call contact trigger.

Thanks.

Re: How to communicate between CRS and an external web server

on CTI, create a custom ActiveX COM object to enable IVR to receive timeout if backend database application or web services goes down.
