How to Script Tranfer Connect

Live2 Bicycle

I am new to IPCC and Scripting and need some guidance. My company has a call center and LD T1's from Qwest. The LDs terminate on a 3660. When a customer calls in and selects menu option 1 then option 1 again they should be routed back out to an outside vendors call center. Qwest has the TNR feature programmed and they are waiting for the * to be passed to them in front of the outside call centers number so they know to allow for the transfer connect. How would I script this? Picture attached of current script.

You are talking about doing "pre-routing" using IPCC Enterprise. You will need to configure a Network Interface Controller. Search the SRND for NIC:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/custcosw/ps1844/products_implementation_design_guide_book09186a008057a473.html

Also look under:

http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/icm/icmentpr/icm60doc/coreicm6/plng60/icme60pg.pdf

And search for "IXC Overview"

I think I kind of understand this. In the ICM I will create a NIC for the Qwest transfer then I edit the current IPCC script to use the nic? WHen I edit the script I right click and choose new object. I chose a couple to see if they would give me the NIC option and none did. Do I NOT need to modify the script? Is the TnR feature all in the background?

First of all, Do you have a nic license? If you do, do you have either a Qwest NIC card on the Router or the qwest NIC Card on another server?

If you do have the license and the NIC card, then have you configured the NIC on the Routers?

Only then you can really do pre-routing
